Research Seminar of Sociology
SfS

Welcome to the SfS!

The Seminar für Soziologie (Research Seminar of Sociology) is an association of sociologists and scholars from related disciplines that is involved in both research and teaching and collaborates on projects with external partners.

Sociology explores various aspects of societal life, such as education and employment, politics, economics, art, and culture. It seeks to understand how institutions and power dynamics, values, and relationships undergo changes in the face of an increasingly complex society, and how people navigate these transformations. Our research and teaching reflect these aspects, offering a broad view of society and a diverse range of courses for students.
