Forschung am SfS-HSG

Das Seminar für Soziologie SfS-HSG betreibt schwerpunktmässig Grundlagenforschung mit unseren Forschungspartner:innen.

What sociology explores

The Seminar for Sociology SfS-HSG primarily engages in basic research in collaboration with our research partners.

Sociology explores various aspects of societal life, such as education and employment, politics, economics, art, and culture. It investigates how institutions and power dynamics, values, roles, and relationships change in the face of an increasingly complex society and how individuals navigate these changes.

Our main focus is on basic research; for commissioned research, we establish specific agreements in consultation with our research partners.
