Advancing Climate-Resilient Land Use

About the Project

LandShift is transforming land-use management to enhance climate resilience, biodiversity, and sustainable resource use. Operating across five Living Spaces in France, Greece, Italy, Poland, and Ukraine, the project integrates Earth Observation data, Artificial Intelligence, and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) aligned with the New European Bauhaus (NEB) principles. By developing Data Cubes and robust monitoring systems, LandShift empowers stakeholders, including policymakers, land managers, and local communities, to implement adaptive, data-driven strategies. The project fosters inclusive governance and demonstrates how to restore ecosystems, promote efficient land use, and build resilient communities in the face of evolving environmental and socio-economic challenges.
